I have set everything up and it is operating properly. However the size of the displayed VM screen appears to be fixed at a small size and will not respond to going full screen etc.
I have attempted to remedy the problem with some research, changing the compatibility options by right clicking on the shortcut and overriding high DPI scaling behaviour. This is also the settings for the VM itself Update I just changed the global settings in the compatibility options to override the DPI scaling for the system rather than the application , and this did make the VM actually scale However it now is too large for the screen, with a scrollable section hiding things off screen?
Update 2 After downloading the patch tool as suggested in the answers, I find that I cannot edit the registry since my laptop is locked down by the Admins No workaround has been found thus far.

Vmware workstation 12 display scaling free download.Content Not Available
Many users have posted questions regarding their inability to make some of the programs they run in VMplayer scale to fit their entire display, rather than look at a very small image surrounded by large black bars. Unlike some other VMware products, VMplayer itself lacks a scaling option. However, I have found a workaround that should help. If you’ve already done so, just skip to the next step. This vmware workstation 12 display scaling free download the only somewhat tricky part.
I will use my own нажмите для деталей an example:. So, if the program you want to use is fixed vmware workstation 12 display scaling free download x resolution, you might use нажмите сюда same text as me, possibly adjusting the color depth to 8 or bit if the program requires.
Almost all video cards allow you to choose a scaling method. I prefer fixed aspect ratio scaling so my image isn’t horizontally stretched on my widescreen display, but others might prefer to leave scaling off so the image fits the entire screen.
Your video card should have a special configuration program that can be accessed by the Http://replace.me/28163.txt control panel or simply by right-clicking on your desktop. Your monitor will be fixed at the settings from your shortcut until you close VMplayer. Under the example I provided above, a program within VMplayer that runs only at x full-screen resolution will now be scaled to fit the monitor, instead of being tiny and surrounded by black bars.
