Apr 9, So I downloaded Autocad to install on my 64bit Windows 7 machine. However after installation, the Autocad installer states that I do not have enough disk space to create an Autocad folder on my Desktop. I can start Autocad in safe mode in the Autocad folder in the Program files, but the 64bit application fails to start.

Attempting to start the 64bit version of Autocad in a 32bit app. Windows looks to make a backup folder in the Autocad folder which is full even though it is in full.

I even removed the Windows 7 64bit completely, re-installed it and then tried the 64bit Autocad as before. Same problem occurs of not enough disk space. When I do the Vista control panel cleaning thing and remove the Autocad program icon from the Start Menu, it later reappears because it requires adding it back to the start menu.
